What an invite code actually is
About 260 people a month in the US search for a Mulebuy invite code, more than search for its coupons. The code is simple once you see who benefits. When someone shares their invitation link or code and you sign up with it, Mulebuy credits your new account with a welcome pack of coupons, and it pays the person who shared it a commission on what you spend. The code is a referral, not a discount in itself. That is why spreadsheet creators, TikTok accounts and coupon pages all post codes: each one earns them money.
None of that is wrong in itself; referral programmes are common. But it explains why so many pages tell you a code is "the best" and why some of them hide that they are paid when you use it.

Why not to open a Mulebuy account in October 2026
A welcome pack only has value if the agent ships. Since mid-August 2026, reviewers describe orders stuck for a month, withdrawals deducted but not received and support that replies only with automated messages. The last review we could find was posted on 11 September. Mulebuy has not explained what happened, and the raid reports circulating since August are unconfirmed. There is also a practical point: anyone still posting Mulebuy invite codes today is either not following the news or still earning from referrals. Neither is a good guide.

Invite codes on other agents
Every major agent runs a similar programme. If you sign up with a creator's code on another agent, you get a coupon pack and they earn a commission; there is nothing wrong with that as long as you choose the agent for its own merits. A sensible order of decisions: compare agents on delivered price, written storage and return rules, and recent reviews, using the alternatives guide; pick one; then, if you want, sign up through a code from a creator whose finds you actually use.

Spotting fake invite-code offers
- Promises of cash. Agents give coupons, not balance top-ups, for referrals.
- Codes that need payment. A real code never costs anything to use.
- Look-alike sign-up pages. Type the agent's address yourself and enter the code there, rather than following a link to a page that only looks like the agent.
- "Recovery" codes for stuck Mulebuy orders. No code releases a parcel. These are scams that appeared after the August reports.

If you already signed up with a code
Many people opened Mulebuy accounts with a creator's invite code in 2025. That code does not affect what you can do now. Unused coupons from the welcome pack are not worth an order while parcels are reported stuck, and the referral link between your account and the creator ends when you stop ordering. If you are moving to another agent, nothing about the old code follows you.

Referral codes inside old spreadsheet links
Many Mulebuy spreadsheet links carry the creator's referral code in the address. Reusing those links on Mulebuy would credit the creator; on another agent the code means nothing. When you convert links with the link converter, the code is dropped and only the marketplace item remains. If you want to support a creator, use their current code on the agent they now recommend.
