The four stages of an agent order
"How long does Mulebuy take to ship" is really four questions, because an agent order waits in four places. Knowing which stage you are in tells you whether a delay is normal.
| Stage | Typical time | Who controls it |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Seller ships to the warehouse | 2–5 days; longer for made-to-order items | The seller |
| 2. Warehouse receives, QC photos | About a day at Mulebuy before August | The agent |
| 3. Storage until you submit a parcel | Your choice, up to the free period (90 days at Mulebuy) | You |
| 4. Packing and international delivery | 1–3 days packing, then the line's delivery time | The agent and the carrier |
Most waiting happens before the parcel leaves China, and part of it is yours.
Measured delivery times by country
Independent measurements are rare, so we use one: rep.tools tracked parcels across agents and published door-to-door ranges for 2026. From dispatch, parcels to the United States took 12 to 19 days with a median of 16; to the United Kingdom 7 to 16 days, median 9; to Germany 12 to 24 days, median 16; and to Canada 10 to 20 days. These are cross-agent figures, not Mulebuy's own, and lines differ widely.
There is no comparable public measurement for Italy or France. Lines to both usually quote similar ranges to Germany. Our Milan and Paris pages explain the final-delivery carriers, which is where Italian parcels most often lose days waiting for a customs payment or a missed delivery.
Expect roughly two to three weeks door to door after dispatch, less to the UK.
Stuck at Mulebuy since August
From mid-August 2026, the pattern in Mulebuy reviews is not slow delivery but parcels that never leave: statuses frozen at "seller shipped" or "being packaged" for a month or more, items marked destroyed after a shipping request, and support that sends only automated replies. That is outside every normal range in the table above. If your parcel looks like that, waiting is unlikely to fix it; the documentation and payment-dispute steps on the status page are what help.
Parcels that had already been handed to a carrier before the trouble kept moving normally. If your tracking shows a carrier number and international scans, follow it on the carrier's site; see Mulebuy tracking.
A month at "being packaged" is not a delay; treat it as a problem.

Send us a product link, an old Mulebuy link or a screenshot on WhatsApp. We reply with a price delivered to your country and send photos of the item before it leaves China. This is our own service, run separately from every agent on this site.

Making the next order faster on any agent
- Order everything for one parcel at once. The parcel waits for the slowest seller.
- Check QC photos the day they arrive. Returns and exchanges restart the clock.
- Do not use the whole storage period. Shipping soon after the last item arrives is faster and safer.
- Choose a line with tracking to your door. Untracked economy lines save money and cost certainty.
- For the EU, prefer a tax-included line. Parcels waiting for a customs payment lose days at the depot.
When you pick a new agent, ask for its line list to your country and compare quoted times with the measured ranges above; a quote far below them is optimistic. The alternatives guide and shipping cost page help with the rest.
Order together, check fast, ship soon: that saves more time than any line.
Holidays and peak seasons
Chinese holidays slow every stage. Around Chinese New Year (late January or February) sellers and warehouses close for one to three weeks, and the backlog lasts longer. Golden Week at the start of October slows sellers for about a week. In Europe, November and December bring the heaviest parcel volumes of the year, and customs and couriers slow down. If you need something by a date, order at least six weeks ahead in these periods.
Add two weeks to every estimate around Chinese New Year and Christmas.
Reading a line's quoted time
Agents quote delivery times per line, usually as a range of days. Those ranges typically count from when the parcel leaves the warehouse, not from when you submit it, and they rarely include customs delays or a failed first delivery. Compare a quote with the measured figures above: a line promising seven days to Germany when measured parcels take a median of sixteen is describing its best case. Lines with tracking to your door make it easier to see where time is lost, and tax-included lines avoid the most common hold-up in Europe, waiting at a depot for a customs payment.
A quoted time is a best case; the measured median is the realistic one.
When to start worrying
Roughly: worry after a week if an item has not reached the warehouse and the seller has not shipped; after three days if QC photos are missing for a received item; after a week at a packing status; and after about ten days without a carrier scan once the parcel has a tracking number. On Mulebuy since August, the first three thresholds have often been passed by weeks.
Set yourself thresholds per stage, and act when they pass.
Questions readers ask
How long did Mulebuy shipping take before August?
Reviewers commonly reported one to three weeks from parcel submission, faster on express lines such as UPS.
Why is my Mulebuy parcel stuck at being packaged?
Since mid-August 2026 many buyers report exactly this, for a month or more, with no reply from support. It is part of the wider problem, not a normal delay.
What is the fastest shipping line?
Express couriers are usually fastest and most expensive. Economy consolidated lines are slowest. Tax-included EU lines sit in between.
Does the time start when I pay for the item?
Count from payment, but most of the wait before shipping is the seller and your own storage time.
